Madison G. Hall Memorial Car Show

Madison G. Hall Memorial Car Show, April 28, 2024 11am-5pm, Benton County Fairgrounds Boswell Indiana. $20 donation to the scholarship fund.

Madison along with her parents Lee J., and Felisha Hall was tragically killed on October 2, 2022 in Illinois by a drunk driver. Madison had just graduated from Benton Central High School and had started her Freshman year at Purdue University. Madison was pursuing her dreams to be an agricultural teacher. In Madison’s honor we have started a scholarship fund and give out scholarships each year at Benton Central High School. Join us to make this year’s Car Show another success. Thank you!

CAMP PLYMOUTH MILITARY VEHICLE SHOW & SWAP MEET

This big SPRING meet has been the largest annual show for ex-military vehicles MVs west of the Mississippi, since the late 1970s Since 2019 it has been at the 49er Village RV Resort and adjacent Amador County Fairgrounds in the old West town of Plymouth, CA. Dates are April 17 through 20, 2024, ending Saturday night with the annual raffle and dinner. Sunday is a pull-out day, not a show day. All MVs welcome, any condition. No admission or parking fees, no MV registration fee, no vendor fee but all sellers must rent a campsite. RV sites are at the 49er but no tenting there. Tent sites are at the fairgrounds. Visitor parking and trailer storage is at the fairgrounds, gate is near 18343 Empire Street. Anyone with a rented site may sell parts and military collectibles. There will be three themed MV showcases on Friday and Saturday: M38 and M38A1 Jeeps and Variants, M274 Mules, and Big Trucks & Work Vehicles. Womens activities, likely MV excursion. BELLTOWN ANTIQUE CAR CLUB'S 49TH ANNUAL ANTIQUE ENGINE & TRACTOR SHOW

On display will be an interesting assortment of antique stationary engines, as well as working scale reproductions, of the types that once powered early farm equipment, sawmills, lathes and even washing machines. Vintage farm tractors will also be exhibited, many of which have been lovingly restored. You are sure to enjoy seeing and hearing examples of these remarkable engines and old tractors being demonstrated throughout the day.Judging begins at noon and trophies will be awarded at 3 p.m.Also included in the show is a flea market with vendors offering antique engine, tractor and vehicle parts, used power equipment for home/farm use, tools, ONLY Food will be available on the premises, provided by the East Hampton Lions Club as part of their community fund raising efforts.
