1964 Mercury Montclair Breezeway
1964 Mercury Montclair Breezeway 1964 Mercury Montclair Breezeway. Before diving into the details, I encourage interested buyers to check out the "Will It Run" video on YouTube featuring this very car, which shows that it did run within the last three years. Currently, the car does not run and will need to be trailered home. Additionally, there is a loose joint on the pitman arm linkage, which will need to be repaired or temporarily secured for transport. I want to be upfront about the challenges first-this classic has been sitting in 3 Points and was once home to pack rats, but fortunately, they did not damage any wiring. Since moving the car to Tucson, I have placed strobe lights under and inside it to deter further issues. Now for the good: the car is all original. The only rust I've identified is a small spot, about the size of a half dollar, on the right front corner of the passenger floorboard. All other floorboards appear to be very sound. The glass is intact, including the rare sliding back window. The original 390 engine, C6 transmission, and 9" Ford rear end are all still in place. The car comes with two chrome reverse wheels and two Cragar mags. The body is in great shape, with all the original chrome and body moldings still straight and in place. Please note, the title was lost by the previous owner, so I can only provide a Bill of Sale and a copy of the one I received when I purchased it. This is an excellent opportunity for a classic car enthusiast looking for a solid restoration project with original parts intact.
