1962 Beechcraft B33 Debonair The 1962 Beechcraft B33 Debonair has undergone extensive work in the last 18 months, transforming from a project plane into an exceptional flying machine. What started as a slow restoration quickly accelerated, and now the aircraft is powered by a freshly overhauled IO-470N engine with a new crank, rods, and Surefly magnetos with battery backup, all compliant with STC. Additionally, a new EI CG30P combo has been installed for enhanced engine monitoring. The interior and insulation are brand new, offering a comfortable and quiet cabin, while new fuel bladders, tires, and tubes ensure reliability. New door hinges have been added, making the door close perfectly, and a new strobe light improves visibility. The aircraft also features a new weight and balance after the removal of 1,000 feet of wire. Although the avionics are outdated, they are functional, and there is a UAVonic system in the tail for ADS-B out. The last annual inspection was completed on 03/24, ensuring the plane is ready for safe and reliable flight. This Beechcraft B33 Debonair is now a solid, upgraded aircraft with modern features and classic appeal.
