It retains its original 4.2L (258 cubic inch) engine, fitted with a 4.0L cylinder head conversion to better accommodate the factory Mopar electronic fuel injection upgrade. The body was fitted with a Mopar replacement tub by Real Deal Steel and professionally refinished in Jeep Firecracker Red. The floors were coated in Rhino Liner, and the interior was updated with Bestop seating, a soft top, windows, and roll-bar covering. The drivetrain and chassis were set up for off-road use with upgraded axles, spring-over suspension, onboard air, locking rear differential, power steering components, and a Warn winch. The Jeep rides on 15-inch American Racing wheels with 35-inch Cooper tires and retains a functional, purpose-built interior with SpeedHut gauges and Tuffy storage.
