The First Generation (1964-1966) Barracuda Was Based On The Chrysler A-Body. A Two-Door Hardtop (No B-Pillar) Fastback Design, It Shared A Great Majority Of Parts And Bodywork With The Plymouth Valiant, Except For The Huge And Distinctive Wraparound Rear Glass. Fastback Styling Was Not New When The First Generation Plymouth Barracudas Began To Roll Into Showrooms, Which Was A Full 16 Days Prior To Fords Mustang!
