George Woodman Reimagines The Yamaha XSR 700, in Project Hommage

Biarritz, France, in an amazing atelier, is where youll find George Woodman creating customizations as unique works of art. With a flair for transforming both old and beloved classics into something of the future, George celebrates the achievements of his first custom, The Smoking Black Fish on a 1929 FN which has since earned its residency at the famous Haas Museum in Dallas. George Woodman Reimagines The Yamaha XSR 700, in Project Hommage Inspired by success and an old race motorcycle with a complete full fairing made of carving wood, George Woodman reimagines the Yamaha XSR 700, in a project he dubs, Hommage. Upgraded to include a multitude of enhanced performance parts such as, Ohlins in the fork and rear spring, a rear set by Gilles.Tooling, KN filters, a Rizoma Fuel tap, a Xrace exhaust, ABS system off, and Diablo SuperCorsa tires, amongst many others. Complete with a full fairing made of beech wood with an overlay of fiberglass and resin, and an expert paint job by Jrome Lopez of Colorside, the Hommage was predominantly shaped by hand, using a grinder and sanding discs.
