These are the Custom Ford Ranger Project Trucks of SEMA 2019

If theres one thing you can count on every year at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas, its Ford bringing a fleet of modified vehicles to populate its massive booth. Today, the Blue Oval reveals the Rangers and Transit vans it plans to exhibit, though you can count on seeing many more customized Fords at its show stand Ford says it will have more than 50 vehicles on display. We still have yet to see the F-Series trucks, SUVs, and crossovers it plans to show, not to mention all the Ford cars, err, all the Ford Mustangs bound for SEMA. For now, check out the Ranger and Transit builds you can expect to see at the big aftermarket show in the desert. Tjin Edition Ford Ranger There should be no shortage of lifted Rangers at this years SEMA Show, and thats exactly why father and son team Neil and Collin Tjin went with a street truck aesthetic for their Tjin Edition Ford Ranger . Painted a bold shade of yellow, the truck is slammed on custom 20-inch Rotiform three-piece wheels. An air suspension system lowers the truck eight inches in the front and nine inches in the rear. Further enhancing its looks are RTR fender flares and an RTR grille with integrated triangle LED lights. For performance, the stock 2.3-liter EcoBoost turbo-four gets a Roush Performance intake and a cat-back exhaust from Ford Performance. To slow the low-riding truck down, a set of Baer six-piston brake calipers clamp down on 14-inch rotors front and rear. RTR Rambler Ford Ranger The overlanding trend is apparently still going strong, as evidenced by this RTR Rambler Ford Ranger complete with SkyRise bed tent. The build also includes an integrated snowboard capsule, underbody protection, custom RTR fenders, RTR Tech 6 wheels wrapped in 33-inch Nitto Grappler tires, and the new Ford Performance off-road suspension that offers a 2-inch front lift and was tuned by Fox Racing. Yakima Ford Ranger When it comes to gear-carrying accessories for your car, Yakima is practically a household name. So, naturally, the brand had to feature its best outdoor lifestyle products on its custom Ford Ranger. The pickup truck gets a bed-mounted rack complete with a JayLow kayak mount and a HangOver vertical four-bike carrier with BackSwing mount. Just like the RTR, the Yakima Ford Ranger also gets the Ford Performance off-road lift kit. In addition, it receives a Ford Performance cat-back exhaust, Warn winch, Rigid auxiliary lighting, RPG steels bumpers, rock slider side steps, and Fuel Recoil wheels wrapped in 33-inch BFGoodrich T/A KO2 off-road tires. Advanced Accessory Concepts Ford Ranger Ford says this 2019 Ranger XLT build was customized with exploration in mind. Advanced Accessory Concepts installed its own bumpers, skid plate, rock sliders, and aluminum bed tray with a canopy and Tepui Hybox tent. The truck also gets a Ford Performance rear differential cover, an Icon 3.5-inch lift kit, Vector wheels, and a Warn Zeon Platinum 10-S winch. Does exploring make you thirsty? Grab a cold one from the 50-quart ARB refrigerator in back. Hellwig Ford Ranger Here we have yet another Ford Ranger built for overlanding. The Hellwig Ranger is designed to reach remote locations and stay off-grid for extended periods of time. To help it get out there, the truck features an Icon suspension with 3.5-inch lift, Hellwig anti-roll bars, Addictive Desert Designs rock sliders and bumpers, Rigid auxiliary lighting, an ARB long-travel jack, and 17-inch Icon Compression wheels wrapped in Falken off-road tires. Once out in the bush, the Ranger relies on a Goal Zero solar power system for its electrical needs. A Tepui hard-shell tent and Trail Kitchens slide-out stove allow you to rough it in relative comfort. Ford Performance Parts Ford Ranger Ford Performance Parts saves its best goodies for its official project Ranger. Naturally, the build includes the Fox-Ford Performance 2-inch lift kit, Ford Performance Ranger Raptor wheels wrapped in BFGoodrich A/T KO2 tires, a Ford Performance hood-hinge light kit, and Ford Performance heavy-duty recovery kit with red tow hooks. The truck also gets Rigid SR-Series Pro light bars, a Warn 9.5 XP winch, Tepui HyBox rooftop tent, Decked truck bed storage system, and an ARB Elements refrigerator.   SpeedVegas Ford Transit As you can probably guess from this Ford Transit s vinyl wrap graphics, the custom van will serve as a shuttle for Las Vegas supercar racetrack experience, SpeedVegas. The 12-passenger all-wheel-drive van is lowered 5 inches on Weld Racing wheels and comes to a stop with help from upgraded Brembo brakes. Customers buckle into Momo seats on their way to the track.   Polvoorde Racing/Outside Van Ford Transit The Van Life movement continues to grow, so it should come as no surprise that Ford is getting in on the action with this Transit built for off-road racer Christopher Polvoorde. The custom van combines an RV with a garage and a man cave. Up front, the Transit has room to sleep four people, who can enjoy the luxuries of heated water, air conditioning, and solar power out in the wilderness. Theres also space for mountain bikes, snowboards, a kayak, fishing poles, or other outdoor gear you might need when living on the road. A Kicker audio system provides the soundtrack while Rigid LEDs serve as party lights. Oh, and did we mention it rolls on snow tracks?   The post These are the Custom Ford Ranger Project Trucks of SEMA 2019 appeared first on MotorTrend .
