1962 Chevrolet Nova Twin Turbo LS Powered Restomod 6.0L V8 Automatic

Starting with power coming by way of a steel block 6.0-liter engine, this beast is complete with twin 67MM turbos by Precision Turbo and Turbo Smart waste gates. With all that muscle, you can tune this high horsepower runner from 800hp all the way up to a capable 1300hp.
The 402CI LS is spinning a Manley rotating assembly and Comp camshaft, with aluminum heads assisting with all that boost. Fuel is injected into the engine via an Edelbrock intake and Edelbrock Pro Flow injection unit, all being monitored by a Holley electronic engine management system.
Not just any transmission will do when you have that much power running through it, so the folks at Trans Extreme built a TH400 automatic transmission with Stage 3 internals. Out back is a Childress Racing rear end with 35 spline Wave-Trac Posi, 3:18 gears, and Mosher rear end housing. A driveshaft by Driveshaft Specialties connects the transmission and rear end together.
Inside this high-revving Chevy Bow Tie Machine are G-Force harnesses to keep you planted in the Corbeau bucket seats. Besides the sounds coming out of the side exit exhaust, you can listen to the Custom Auto Sound AM-FM-MPX receiver.
To help with the handling are Schott wheels with 235/45R17 tires up front and 345/35R18 tires in the rear. Wilwood 4-wheel disc brakes with slotted and drilled rotors bring this 8-second machine to a quick stop. A Heidts front end with QA1 shocks takes care of the ride quality.
All the above is contained in a very nice and straight Nova body that was sprayed with a custom paint that looks great over the black interior. Topping off the front end is a fiberglass cowl hood.
