Today, high-performance parts manufacturer Race Winning Brands (RWB) announced their acquisition of Falicon Crankshaft Components, maker of internal engine parts for performance and powersports applications. Falicon is the newest brand taken under RWBs wing along with JE Pistons, Wiseco Performance Projects, K1 Technologies, Diamond Pistons, Trend Performance, Dart Machinery, Rekluse Motor Sports, and ProX Racing Parts. Falicon opened its doors in 1977, making off-the-shelf and made-to-order racing parts from custom-ground crank and camshafts, to gears and clutches. Their products are found in everything from NHRA Pro Stock cars to AMA Supercross motorcycles. Im excited about the future of Falicon, explains Falicons former owner Glenn Salpaka. The RWB team possesses extensive industry experience and resources which will be extremely beneficial for not only Falicon, but our customers. Together, we plan to expand our customer service, capabilities, and technology. Salpaka will stay on with the company as the technical and operations consultant. The current management team of Falicon will also welcome some long-time industry veterans. Former operations leader for McLaren Performance Technologies and Arrow Racing Engines, Devin Rickey will come on board as General Manager and Chief Engineer while Carrillos former president Jack Sparks will bring his 40-year experience of connecting rod design and manufacturing to the Technical Director position. The acquisition will not affect the companys operations out of their current headquarters in Clearwater, Florida.
