Description:

In the world of classic muscle cars, few names elicit more intimidation and respect than the mighty Chevelle. While not all trims are created equal, this 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 427 sits at the very top of the GM food chain.

Fully repainted in its uniquely eye-catching and original Butternut Yellow, this two-door hardtop shows off the Chevelle's powerful lines and intimidating stance in a way not typically seen. Originally a bucket seat car, the original owner installed a front bucket seat to accommodate his growing family. A sea of clean black vinyl is broken up by the three-spoke wood-rimmed steering wheel that sits just before the column-mounted 7,000 RPM tach.

The original AM radio sits in the center of the dashboard, which won't likely get much use, as that killer big block under the hood provides all the music you need. Under the hood, we find a fantastic 427 cubic-inch V-8. This 425-horsepower motor is topped with a single four-barrel Holley carb that feeds a correct Winter's intake manifold before sending power out through a dual exhaust complete with a factory replacement muffler. Those ponies get routed through a traditional Muncie M20 Wide Ratio four-speed manual transmission before being sent out to a 12-bolt Posi rear that houses 3.73:1 gears, which provide plenty of grunt off the line to help this SS explode off the line.

This 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 427 rides on a factory-style suspension that uses boxed trailing arms and a rear sway bar, which is correct for an actual SS car. Fifteen-inch Rallye wheels are shod in 225/70R-15 Ironman rubber. As an added bonus, this throwback beast even comes with its owner's manual. If you want to own one of the meanest muscle cars ever to roam the earth, this is the one you've been waiting for. Call today!
