1995 Ford F-250 XLT

Description:

1995 Ford F250 XLT 1995 Ford F-250 XLT Extended Cab Long Bed Pickup, a true workhorse featuring the legendary 7.3L Power Stroke Diesel engine paired with an E4OD automatic transmission. This truck is fully licensed, insured, and ready for a test drive whenever you are. I purchased this truck back in December 2003, when it had 186,200 miles on it. Since then, it has seen consistent use and care, now boasting an odometer reading of 323,722 miles. This truck originally served as a farm truck in Southeast Arkansas-rice and cotton country-and I am only the second owner. It has never been in an accident, and its title is clean. I also have a Carfax report that confirms its clear history, with no incidents or insurance claims, likely because it was primarily used on the farm. The engine currently powering this F-250 was swapped in from a wrecked 1997 F-350, which had 124,000 miles at the time of the swap. That engine now has approximately 212,000 miles on it, with 88,000 of those miles added under my ownership. Along with the engine swap, the truck received a brand new engine wire harness and primary wire harness from Ford in 2004. In 2005, I upgraded the computer (Ford P/N F5xx to F7xx), which has been a great benefit in extending the life of the glow plugs, a recommendation from a Ford mechanic. A new radiator was also installed just before I bought the truck, and its been running strong ever since. The transmission was overhauled twice-once in 2005 and again in 2012 when I moved to Northwest Arkansas. The rebuilds included numerous upgrades for better performance and longevity, including a billet torque converter from Oregon Performance Transmission (with a 30% increase in clutch capacity), a shift kit, a rebuilt and modified solenoid block, new Direct drum and six-pinion planetary, and Raybestos high-performance clutches. Ive also changed the transmission fluid and filter several times over the years to ensure smooth operation. A transmission oil cooler was installed in 2004 to enhance performance under heavy loads. The suspension has also been upgraded, with a front axle swap from Twin I-Beam to Mono Beam with manual locking hubs. The front axle is from the same 1997 F-350 as the engine, while the rear axle is a dually setup from a 1996 F-350, which had about 65,000 miles when I installed it. The rear axle is a 4:10 limited slip, while the front is a 4:11 open. The rear springs were rebuilt from an F-250, with two additional leaves added to each side for extra strength. The front springs are from the 1997 F-350, with three leaves per side, which adds to the truck's durability and capacity. The tires are in good condition all around. The trucks body, while showing signs of wear typical of its age, is in fair condition with some dents and dings, but theres no rust or holes anywhere. The left front fender and drivers door were damaged in a minor mishap at a Walmart parking lot. The windshield is cracked, but the truck still passes inspection and drives like a beast. It also features a hide-away gooseneck ball hitch in the bed for hauling trailers, as well as a heavy-duty rear bumper with a drop hitch for added towing capabilities. The toolbox and tank rack are included with the sale, as is the sturdy bush guard upfront for added protection. In addition to all of this, the truck comes with a treasure trove of extras, including new parts and salvaged items Ive saved over the years. These include a spare grille, door glass, left side fender, three-ton floor jack, fan clutch tool, onboard trailer brake control, the original Twin I-Beam axle assembly, and two like-new rotors, as well as two brand new rotors still in their boxes. Theres also a brake booster from the 1997 F-350 I saved, and much more. Everything I have for this truck goes with it to the new buyer. This F-250 has been my work truck, my money maker, and a reliable partner for many years. Ive taken exceptional care of it, ensuring that it remains in top mechanical condition. The 7.3L Power Stroke Diesel is well-known for its durability and reliability, and this truck is no exception. There are plenty of miles left in it, and its ready for whatever job or adventure you have in mind. Im retiring now, and thats the only reason Im parting with it. Im asking a fair price, but Im open to offers. Dont hesitate to reach out if youre serious about buying. Please, no scammers-I know the tricks, so dont waste your time or mine!
