The fifth generation Coronet was a complete 180 from what they originally were in the late 40's-to early 50's. They went from a full size car to a mid-size sporty car in 1965 and would enter the muscle car fight at this time as well with offerings such as the 426 Hemi. This particular really cool car has had a frame off restoration with nothing being left untouched. Finished in beautiful black paint with a custom cream interior and a power hartzcloth power top. Other features include vintage air conditioning, custom dash panel with new classic instruments. It has a upgraded rebuilt 318 V8 with a 727 Automatic with power steering and power front disc brakes. It features 2"" dropped spindles, HD front sway bar, HD radiator, electronic ignition, 600 Edelbrock carb, new water pump, fuel pump and battery. There is a giant file of receipts and spec sheets that accompany this car. The current owner was a surprised winner at a car show raffle and they just don't have the space for it. This car starts super easy, has a great sound and goes down the road better than new with no squeaks, rattles, shakes or leaks and would make a great cruiser or power tour car. The engine purrs like a kitten, shifts nice and brakes with ease. This is a ton of car for the money and if you are looking to get in to something at a relative inexpensive price, then this might be for you.
