1966 Ford Mustang

Description:

While first generation pony cars are iconic, this 1966 Ford Mustang is also done with an extra dose of eye-catching character. It has a distinct and correct color combo that also has the right features you really want.

Sauterne Gold is a distinctive color on a 1966 Mustang, and it looks especially nice today thanks to a quality respray. More than just the color, you can tell it has been treated with the proper care by how the lines are clean as well as how the doors and hood close solid. The black vinyl top and GT-style dual exhaust exiting through the rear valance panel are premium features. The bumpers, emblems, and trim have a nice shine to go with this coupe's golden glow, and the chrome styled steel wheels wrapped with tires staggered P215/60R15 front and P235/60R15 rear are a great look on this icon. It all makes for a total package that loves to stand out without sacrificing its vintage spirit.

HIGHLIGHTS:

Rebuilt 289 V8 engine

Rebuilt C4 automatic transmission with stall converter

Only 1,000 miles on balanced engine rebuild

Detailed engine build receipts

3.55 posi rear end

15-inch chrome styled wheels

Aluminum radiator

Dual exhaust

The very clean black interior is largely stock in appearance, with an upgraded AutoSound retro AM/FM radio, column-mounted tachometer, under dash oil, temperature and volt gauges, stock floor shifter, seatbelts front and rear, as well as an upgraded retro-style wood-rimmed 3-spoke steering wheel.

Under this pony's hood is a rebuilt 289 V8 engine mated to a rebuilt C4 automatic transmission with a 2800 B&M stall converter that sends power back to a 3.55 posi rear end. Detailed build receipts come with the car showing a balanced rotating assembly, .03 bore with pistons, performance cam and lifters, Moly rings, Clevite bearings, double roller timing set, and ARP bolts. The car has been driven only about one thousand miles since the work was completed in 2001. The detailed engine bay also has a Monte Carlo bar, aluminum radiator, polished finned aluminum valve covers, Flamethrower coil, aluminum intake manifold and a Holley carburetor.

This is a documented, high-quality 1966 Ford Mustang that looks and runs fantastic. Call today!
