The 1947 Ford Deluxe has been impressing car show enthusiast taking many top awards including the Seattle Roadster Show. This '47 Deluxe has won over 30 top place trophies. This is a complete body off frame restoration. The frame has been painted with Emeron black paint. The underside of the body and fenders is protected with POR 15 as well as the inner fenders. Both front and rear bumpers have been modified to fit closer to the body. All glass is tinted and in perfect condition. The tailights are early Pontiac style and have been recessed in the fenders. The trunk has an electric release.
The stunning paint is mineral gray with violet pearl in the clear coat. The custom burgundy leather interior and highlighted with gray ostrich skin inserts. The overstuffed bench seat makes road trips a dream. One look at the chrome dash and you'll be hooked. Running a full set of VDO gauges; volts, oil pressure, water temp, fuel, speedometer, and tachometer. The Vintage Air blows ice cold. Even the trunk has been done in burgundy leather and gray ostrich inserts. A tilt column with Lacarra steering wheel gives the perfect touch.
A creative concept by featuring Mustang Cobra Injected H.O. 302ci. The Cobra motor is a complete rebuilt and bored 30 over. GT40 heads with roller rockers, and a E303 cam. Everything under the hood has been chromed. The AOD transmission is equipped with a 2000 stall converter. A high flow Champion aluminum radiator to keep things running cool. An 8-inch rear differential with 3:50 gear. The growl is from dual 2.5-inch exhaust with Magnaflow mufflers.
The suspension is featuring a Fatman Mustang II with 2-inch lower tubular A arms with power rack and pinion. Posie adjustable parallel rear springs and a heavy front sway bar. Stopping power is thanks to front disc brakes and rear drums. Running on Boyd Coddington Timeless mags. The front has a 225/50R17, and rear 255/50R17 is the classic look.
