Welcome to Street Dreams as we celebrate our 26th year in the classic and muscle car business. The Chevrolet Chevelle, despite a relatively short 14 year production run, developed and nurtured its legendary muscle car status largely due to cars like this. Our 1970 Chevelle SS 396 (ZL3) is positively stunning in its correct Classic White paint (10), black vinyl top (BB), and black interior (755), but it's the thrill of driving one that has made these cars legendary. Documented as a true SS 396 by the original build sheet, this beauty was loaded from the factory with desirable features including a 396 V8 (L34) sporting a Holley Sniper fuel injection system, an Edelbrock aluminum intake manifold, and an aluminum radiator, 4-speed close ratio manual transmission (M21), Special Performance Suspension (F41), power front disc brakes (J50, JL2), a 12 bolt rear end with Posi and 3.31 gears (G80, G94), hood and deck stripes (D88), the aforementioned vinyl top (C08), and a push-button radio (U63). In addition, we believe that during a subsequent restoration many items were upgraded with optional factory equipment including power steering, power windows, power door locks, power BENCH seat, air conditioning, tilt steering column, cowl induction hood, rear window defogger, and 225/70R14 tires wrapped around classic Magnum 500 wheels. This car is a prime example of American muscle at the pinnacle of the 'first golden age of horsepower'. Our favorite detail? How about a Muncie 'gooseneck' shifter stirring a Muncie 4-speed from a bench seat? Come by and see the car that your parents warned you about!
