A hydroformed frame, rear-mounted transmission, and nearly bulletproof aluminum block and heads LS1 motor made the C5 a globally competitive sports car. That plethora of ponies gets funneled through a rear-mounted six-speed manual transmission before being sent to the 3.42 geared rear end. A set of staggered ten-spoke Z06 wheels measuring 18 inches out back and 17 inches up front are shod in Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar tires measuring 295/35ZR-18 and 265/40ZR-17, respectively.
