The Ferrari 348 was the final mid-engined V8 Ferrari to be developed under the direction of Enzo Ferrari. Replacing the Ferrari 328 and launched in 1989. Its low-drag Pininfarina-designed body (overseen by Leonardo Fioravanti) combined styling cues from the Testarossa " along the flanks " as well as other classic models of the past.
