1977 Chevrolet Nova 2-dr Post Coupe. This little blue Nova has some incredible history with documents to prove it. Built in Canada, but sold new May 14 th, 1977, at Lexington Chevrolet in Clifton New Jersey, the buyer traded in his brown 1969 Chevelle with for this little Nova. His trade was worth a grand total of 728$. You could sell the door off of a 69 Chevelle for more than $700 now With options, a few accessories and his trade and taxes the new owner paid $4214.05 and drove away in this little survivor! This car comes with a copy of the original bill of sale, The owners manual and maintenance and warranty brochures, plus three dealership service manuals and even the original window sticker! This little Nova is incredible condition and very well equipped. Options include: A01 " Soft Ray Tinted glass for 51$, C60 " four season air conditioning for $488, G50 " Positraction rear axle for $54, Power brakes with front discs for $63, LG3 " 305 2bbl V8 for $120, M15 3-speed on the column manual transmission for no cost, P01- Full wheel covers for $35, QEH " E78 14 white wall tires for $41, T59 " Standard battery for a Credit of $11, ZJ3 " Interior D©cor Package for $27. ZJ5 " Exterior D©cor Package for $78, 22L light Blue Metallic paint for no charge as well as the 24R " VDD1 Blue vinyl front bench for no charge. According to the bill of sale the dealership also upgraded the radio to an AM/FM unit with correct antenna, Undercoated the car and added a Vinyl Roof. Obviously, the car has been painted and had the vinyl top removed since, but most of the car is in survivor condition including the interior which is in excellent condition for its age. The only wear and tear can be found on the carpets which have faded some over time. Even the dashboard is crack free! The only modification on the interior is a replacement aftermarket steering wheel. The car shows 94,000 miles which is believed to be accurate based on condition but cannot be proved because of a 5-digit odometer. Its very unlikely that the car has 194,000 miles. The paint is very nice, and all the chrome and bright work looks great. It has a California license plate giving some hint as to where It spent a lot of time before coming to Canada. Under the hood most everything still looks stock and original including the A/C, with the exception of an upgraded radiator and electric fans. Its the bottom side of this car where things have been changed! Up front youll find Koni Adjustable front shocks and new springs installed in 2004. In March of 2009 the steering ratio was modified. A new Master brake cylinder was added with proportioning valve to accommodate 4-wheel disc brakes and that leads to the biggest change: the installation of a Heidts Superide Fully independent rear suspension set up with a 2.5 gear ratio, CV-Axles, Afco XCS springs, Carrera coil over shocks and in-board disc brakes along with a custom drive shaft to make it all work. Its actually a bit of a shock with the car up on a lift! Full technical documentation of whats been installed on the underside comes along with the car. The Nova is pictured with narrow aluminum wheels but count on a new set of tires and wheels making it onto the Nova to show off the suspension and brakes. A very neat car with a proven history, factory A/C and some very unique modifications!
