The cool two-tone, control of a four-speed, and the go-anywhere 4x4 prowess of this 1989 Ford Bronco make it both a versatile and attractive utility vehicle.
The factory-correct Regatta Blue paint is already a color we don't see too often on these Broncos. And this was resprayed later in life to retain a nice shine. But what's really nice about this one is the full paint package. The white rockers, full-length white stripes, cool side Bronco graphics, and white removable hardtop come together to give this a very cool two-tone. Chrome bumpers, polished wheels, and straight body lines complete an impressive package. But this is a Bronco, and it's not purely meant for show. So it makes sure it keeps a driver-ready appearance, and it also has useful features like towing mirrors, a tow hitch bumper, and a tall ground clearance.
The advantage of a full-size Bronco from this generation is having the sporty two-door style, but it still offers huge room inside. There's plenty of legroom in the rear for adults to spread out, and there's even space for everyone's gear behind this seat. The whole package has a clean look over the full upholstery. So while it's unknown if the odometer reflects the full actual mileage, you can tell this has led a well-respected life thus far. We even have a nice recent maintenance receipt that includes the electric rear window. You'll appreciate how this is a driver's machine with front bucket seats, a cup holder center console in-between, and the full gauge panel has a handy tach to go with the floor shifter.
Under the hood is quite a stock engine bay with a 4.9-liter motor. This kind of displacement is basically as large as the V8s, but in a smooth inline formation. You even have modern fuel injection. It's a well-maintained package that starts readily, idles smoothly, and runs strong. This is nicely paired with the go-anywhere ability of the 4x4 system with a two-speed transfer case. And no matter if you're running up a hill or running around town, you'll appreciate the full control you get from the four-speed manual transmission (there's even a useful granny first gear.) This anytime usability is heightened further by good driving features like power steering, power brakes, front discs, and newer shocks.
