1948 CHEVROLET FLEETLINE 2 DOOR AERO SEDAN

This is hands down the nicest original unmolested 1948 Chevy Aero 2 Door Sedan Fleetline we have ever had in our 47yrs in business. Odometer Shows 79,000 miles. Could be actual, but can not be verified. Car is completely original, except for the 15"wheels, (which do have the correct tabs for the hubcaps) Have seen some of these 15" 5 lug wheels advertised, so they may be original. Most models came with 16" 6 hole wheels. Also, is 99.9% complete, except for the battery, and 1 piece of outside stainless trim. Very few dents on a 99% Rust Out Free Body. Has some small spots of rust out in the front fenders. REALLY NICE STRAIGHT BODY, doors, hood, and trunk work great. Very nice original trim. Look at that grille, looks almost new. All the emblems are intact. Original 6 cyl. engine that we did get started, (That's all we did), did not drive it. So, we are not certain of the condition of the motor, but it did sound OK when we had it running for a few minutes. Of course since the car has been sitting, it will need to have the fuel system gone through, and new brakes, etc. Tires hold air, but are very weather checked. The interior is in unbelievable condition. Look at that dash. Nice chrome. The ignition switch does not work, but they are easy to get. The upholstery is intact, and not all mouse eaten. But, it is very old. Has original radio, with a cool under dash speaker. The dash is complete and unmolested. Both door glass are cracked. The horn ring on the steering wheel is broken, but the piece is laying on the floor, as well as the radio antenna. All the door handles, and window cranks look as new. Also, has a perfect windshield visor. The hubcaps are a bit on the rough side, but do have nice trim rings. If you are looking for a RARE Fleetline, don't pass up this jewel.
