This 1986 Mercedes-Benz 560SL is finished in Signal Red over black leather and is powered by a 5.5-liter V8 paired with a four-speed automatic transmission. Features include a limited-slip differential, a black soft top, a removable hardtop, 16 alloy wheels, rear Bilstein shocks, an Ansa exhaust system, a JVC CD stereo, cruise control, and automatic climate control. With tons of recent service, his R107 shows 129k miles, and it is now offered on dealer consignment with service records, an owner's manual, a first aid kit, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Florida title.
Interior:
The cabin features two bucket seats upholstered in black leather that extends to the door panels, while wood veneer accents the center console and dashboard. Interior equipment includes an alarm system, electric windows, central locking, cruise control, a JVC CD stereo, and automatic climate control. The A/C system has been converted to R134a refrigerant, and work since then has included replacing the blower motor in 08/21, the AC compressor and receiver drier in 06/23, the AC evaporator, expansion valves, and the heater solenoid in 10/23, and the AC condenser in 03/24. The four-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation including a 170-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, a clock, and gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, fuel economy, and fuel level. Exterior:
The car is finished in Signal Red (568) and features a color-matched removable hardtop and a black convertible soft top as well as quad headlights, fog lights, tinted windows, a power antenna, and chrome-accented bumpers and trim. The antenna was replaced in 03/21.
Drivetrain:
The 5.5-liter V8 was factory rated at 227 horsepower and 279 lb-ft of torque. The engine mounts and oil level sender were replaced in 02/19 and the spark plugs were replaced in 04/21. Power is routed to the rear wheels via a four-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential. Ansa rear exhaust components were installed in 11/22 and the steering coupling was replaced in 06/23. Silver-finished 16 alloy wheels were installed and mounted with Continental ExtremeContact DWS06 Plus tires in 11/21. The car was factory equipped with power steering, a fully independent suspension, and power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes. The control arms were repaired in 02/19, and additional work included replacing the ball joints, control arm bushings, dampers, and tie rods. The rear brake rotors were replaced in 03/21, rear Bilstein shocks were installed in 04/21, and the brake master cylinder reservoir was replaced in 11/22.
