First generation Mustangs were available with a variety of engines, each with its own engine code. It was a significant step up from the base-289. The “A” code engine had a 10:1 Compression rating and was offered with a 4-barrel carburetor, but was still less expensive than the high performance 289 “K” code. This beautiful example comes from a top tier collection and has been very well maintained and cared for. Clean and clear title.
