Harley-Davidson discontinued the Springer in 1952 and it was not used again until 1988 when they released the FXSTS. The FLSTSC was available from 2005 through 2007 and the last Springer model to be produced was the FLSTSB which was available from 2008 through 2011. The FLSTSC Softail Springer Classic digs deeply into H-D history to provide a retro look of a classic Springer with today’s amenities such as a Softail frame that offers the look of a Hardtail without sacrificing the rear suspension. The tough looking FLSTSC has an exposed rear fender with a passenger pillion that can easily be removed to enhance the nostalgic look. It also features classic fuel tank trim and metal stamped emblems reminiscent of the Knucklehead era. It is powered by a black and chrome 96” Twin Cam engine mated to a 6-speed Cruise Drive transmission. This particular example was optioned in Black Pearl and has been nicely upgraded with LED lights which include the head light, the added passing lights, turn signals and rear light. Other notable upgrades include the H-D Deluxe solo seat, matching H-D Deluxe leather bags, the rear fender solo seat luggage rack, a chrome rear cheese grater, H-D Defiance grips, a Memphis Shades QR windshield, a large H-D leather windshield pouch, the rear end was lowered 1”, the fat spoke front rim and a set of wide white walls that really look classy. It also has a Stage 1 air filter and the Samson true dual 39” fishtails not only look gorgeous but they also sound just plain nasty. If you have been looking for a classic Springer you will be hard pressed to find a nicer one. If you agree we urge you to contact us before it is too late!
