Now were finally getting a first look at whats next. Acura has released a teaser image of the next-generation RDX, confirming that the redesigned model will debut with a new two-motor hybrid systema first for the nameplate. The upcoming hybrid RDX is a key piece of Acuras broader electrification strategy, which focuses on offering a mix of gasoline, hybrid, and fully electric models to meet different customer needs. With the shift to the new hybrid powertrain on the horizon, Acura says it will pause production of the 2026 RDX later this year as it prepares for the next chapter.
