Completed on June 21, 1967, this beautifully restored Porsche 911 Coupe is an exceptional example of the highly collectible short-wheelbase generation. Finished in Silver Metallic over a black interior, the car retains its numbers-matching engine and gearbox and is documented by its accompanying factory Kardex copy. Originally imported through Volkswagen Pacific in Culver City, California, it was delivered new to its first owner in Beverly Hills before spending the majority of its life in California, a history reflected by its black license plate.
Leaving the factory with an impressive list of options, this 911 was specified with U.S. bumpers, chrome-plated wheels, a wood-rim steering wheel, Koni shock absorbers, a driver's side exterior mirror, rear speaker, and the desirable 911S instrumentation gauges, adding both sporting appeal and collector desirability. Power comes from its numbers-matching 2.0-litre air-cooled flat-six that is paired with Porsche's crisp-shifting Type 901 five-speed manual gearbox, a combination that perfectly captures the engaging character that established the 911's legendary reputation.
This Porsche was the recipient of a comprehensive restoration by the marque specialists European Collectibles of Costa Mesa, California. Fully disassembled, the body was primed, painted, color sanded, and buffed to a brilliant finish, while the brightwork, interior, and mechanical systems were returned to a high standard. New rubber seals were used throughout, German materials were used in the interior, the Fuchs wheels were completely restored, and the four-wheel disc brake system was also sorted.
Most recently in 2025, this Porsche underwent a mechanical and cosmetic freshening carried out by Automotive Restorations Inc. of Stratford, Connecticut that cost over $23,000. This work included rebuilding the carburetor, replacing the spark plugs, installing a new flywheel and clutch assembly, inspecting all brake components and replacing the brake hoses, and performing a fluid flush and oil change.
Accompanying the sale of this 911 is a copy of its factory Kardex, invoice records, a spare tire, jack, and a complete tool roll kit finished with a Porsche Pasha design.
