It's rare when people who deal with classic cars all day, every day stop in their tracks and say, "Wow, I haven't seen one of those before." But, this numbers-matching 1987 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 Convertible with a mere 9,643 (yes, you read that right) miles on its odometer did just that. Under that expansive louvered hood, we find a numbers-matching 305 cubic-inch V-8 engine. Stock heads topped with a four-barrel Rochester Quadrajet carburetor send power to the rear wheels via a 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission. A factory dual to single to dual exhaust keeps this car sounding as authentic as the day it rolled off the assembly line. Fifteen-inch five-spoke wheels wrapped in Goodyear rubber hide a set of power-assisted discs up front with drums in back.
