1951 Studebaker Starlight Coupe Custom Restomod. Super cool ride that's so ugly its cool. Tons of custom work including a one piece molded front end, '48 Studebaker chrome bullet, custom molded and smoothed door handles, rear fenders molded to body, smoothed trunk lid, rear bumpers molded to the car, tail lamps from a '52 and custom California mirrors. It's all finished in DuPont Black Chroma with Chromalusion True Blasberry color changing flames down each side! Powertrain out of an '87 Trans-Am with tuned port injection 350 V8 that's backed by a 700R4. The front and rear suspension components are Mustang II with a Ford 8 rear end, and mustang power rack and pinion up front. inside you'll find a very custom interior with bucket seats from a Honda Prelude, a custom console and the dash also grafted in from the '87 T/A. It's clear the car was transformed many years ago, but the custom work has stood up to the test of time tremendously well. This thing absolutely hauls ass and turns every head as it goes by. Its' so different that it's cool. You'll be the only person at the car show with one of these. Car shows 89,000 kms on a 6-digit factory odometer. The milage is believed to be true to the powertrain.
