Z06 is a true world class super car. Conceived on the track and engineered alongside the C7.R race car, Z06 features a lightweight and rigid aluminum space frame, as well as a supercharged 6.2L aluminum V8 engine delivering 650 horsepower and 650 lb.-ft. of torque. Z06 and the C7.R race car were developed in tandem and share many features and components, including chassis architecture, engine technologies and aerodynamic strategies. With Stingray as a foundation, the Z06 and C7.R were co developed to push the envelope of performance beyond expectation. Carbon-fiber roof and hood, dry-sump oil system, titanium intake valves, composite floor panels, hydroformed aluminum frame and an adjustable rear spoiler wickerbill are all common components found in the C7.R race car and Z06. Z06 features standard Magnetic Ride Control that reads the road a thousand times per second, stiffening the suspension for performance driving without sacrificing a smooth ride on any road. Standard eLSD helps improve feel, handling balance and traction. The Z06 offers 5 distinct, selectable driver modes that electronically calibrate up to 12 performance variables to customize your Corvette for any road. The Track inspired Z06 features a precision sculpted exterior design that is as functional as it is beautiful, for improved grip, aerodynamics and better overall track performance. Wider wheels and tires provide more grip than stingray. Large vents provide cooling air to the engine, brakes, transmission and differential. The rear has been widened by 80mm and the front by 56 mm from Stingray for aggressive stance and enhanced handling. This is the most technologically advanced Corvette to date. The eight inch LCD display features three customizable themes with varying levels of information, from gforce to redline and more. The available heads-up display projects data near your line of sight on the windshield, helping you stay focused on the road ahead.
