1974 Volkswagen Beetle. California style with two-toned paint. Shaved bumpers front and back, roof rack and Surfboard right on top! Highly customized car, yet still sporting its original floor pans, heater channels and a zero-Bondo restoration when the car was repainted for only the first time in 2021! Porsche 15x6 rear and 15x5 front wheels with brand new rubber. Shaved turn signals (now in the headlights) as well as hood handle. Clear rear taillights with colored bulbs. Engine compartment lid stands away from the body with lift hinges to accommodate the intake and air cleaner on the 1641cc fully detailed engine. Its been freshly painted and well chromed! Stinger exhaust out the back completes the look and has a very iconic sound. Running boards have been color matched. Suspension is fully adjustable all the way around and right now runs very low! Wilwood disc brakes on all four corners! The rear seat has been deleted to make way for custom made rear quarter speaker enclosures which house (4) 6.5 speakers and (4) tweeters. That set up is hooked up to a double din CD player and custom center console. In that console are also VDO oil pressure and oil temp gauges. The factory radio also still works through factory dash speakers. Seats are very comfortable and out of a 2005 Honda Civic coupe. The 4 speed has a custom-built vintage speed forged and billet shifter which is very slick shifting and theres a Momo Corso steering wheel, still hooked up to the iconic Beetle horn which sounds exactly like Herbie the Luv Bug in the movie. The headliner is nice and overall, the interior is a nice place to be! The factory original owners manual is in the glove box. The car is a Motorama show winner in recent years. It handles very well shifting and braking is slick. The car is set to go through the shop still and will likely have the carburetor rebuilt. 43,000 miles showing on the car, but with a 5-digit odometer, true milage is unknown.
