It is a PROJECT, but it's in really solid/good condition. 9.8/10 underneath. Body and interior were my next focus,
I have $1000 NIB USA-1 Complete dash kit with a/c vents. Truck is factory a/c truck. (I planned to use Vintage air system or similar bolt-in kit)
New OEM dash bezel, was planning on aftermarket gauge package. (factory gauges are still operational/usable.)
Factory Tilt column w/cruise control.
Body off frame, replaced ALL floors from firewall to rear bumper, w/ new Classic Industries sheet metal, front floor pans, rear bed floor, all bracing, all body mounts, inner/outer wheel tubs, all new/installed. (will be posting pics of body off frame.)
All body bushings are NEW.
*Energy Suspension Bushing Kit*
While body was off frame, replaced entire fuel system, OEM, 26 gal tank/straps, lines, fittings, all new. Also, while frame off, replaced entire brake system, OEM Master Cly/Booster, brakes, Calipers, rotors, bearings, upgraded hubs to New Warn Manual lock hubs, all metal brake lines and rubber lines, all new.
After body back on frame, removed all OEM wiring and replaced w/New $1000 American Autowire Classic Harness. Has not been installed, but new wire was to be until LS swap was complete.
5.3 out of 06 Rollover Tahoe w/only 60k miles. (I know for sure because I took it out.)
Complete factory unaltered 5.3 w/ECM and matching drive by wire pedal, and all OEM wiring (even though I planned on using aftermarket LS swap harnesses.)
New steering stabilizer $159
Steering box (rebuilt) $175
New Windshield Seal $ ?
Interior: 85% There but not complete or installed yet, but usable.
New Corbouex Racing Seats/Mounts. Those are $750 mounts. They were installed, not used. I later decided when going with LS swap I was gonna upgrade with new TMI Blazer interior, TMI just released. Just hadn't bought it yet.
Transmission: New/rebuilt/ never ran, Factory 700R4 AOD Trans w/upgraded clutch packs, shift kit, and deep sump aluminum trans pan. $3k+
New In Box Advance Adapter 5.3 LS to 700R4 flex plate kit $175
I know there are more pieces I don't remember.
Body was next for me to address:
It is not perfect but not bad, couple of little areas we ground out under where the top mounts. Can literally be repaired with scrap steel. So minor.
Driver side quarter panel has small wrinkle from 4x4 encounter, can be body worked out, or Brothers Parts has brand new full Blazer qtrs for $650 a side. I was just gonna it out and body work it. Tailgate is OK, has some pin holes like they all do when the rear power window seal goes bad and dust and wet get inside. Once again, I was just gonna weld it up.
Like I said in ad, it is a PROJECT, but if you have any mechanical aptitude, it's just wrenching. Just running/driving w/L bodyS this square body conversion K5 $25k+ Completely finished with interior, paint $?, the skies the limit, really. But, you won't find one with more parts or more solid bones for the money anywhere. If I didn't have 8 other projects, I would finish it myself.
