When the Gen 1 Porsche 986 Boxster was introduced it was a revelation to Porsche enthusiasts. Although less powerful than its 911 stablemate its handling and and overall feel made it easier to drive fast. In fact in a tight circuit the Boxster S often prevailed. The Boxster S featured upgrades to the suspension and brakes and added a healthy extra 50 horsepower and 29 pounds of torque. This example in iconic Gaurds Red and Black Leather is in great shape rolling on a mere 53k original miles. Its not perfect but it has been well maintained including a recent clutch and IMS upgrade, brake pads, air/oil separator, intake and MAF boots and spark plugs.
