This 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu sport coupe was acquired by the previous owners uncle in 2005, and a subsequent refurbishment spanning over 20 years was recently completed. It is powered by a LS7 454ci crate V8 linked to a Muncie M22 four-speed manual transmission and a 12-bolt PosiTraction rear end with 4.11:1 gears, and equipment includes an Edelbrock intake, a solid-lifter camshaft, long-tube headers, and HEI-style ignition. The body was stripped and refinished in Azure Turquoise with white stripes following body repairs and fitment of a replacement hood, and the interior was re-trimmed in black vinyl upholstery. Air conditioning, power steering, power front disc brakes, and a Hurst shifter were also specified during the build.

The car is equipped with power steering, and braking is handled by power-assisted front discs and rear drums. The front bucket and rear bench seats are upholstered in black vinyl, and they are joined by a full-length center console with locking storage and a Hurst T-handle shifter. The air conditioning system received a replacement belt and compressor along with a recharge in November 2025. The arm rests and sill plates were replaced during the refurbishment. Instrumentation includes a 120-mph speedometer, a nonfunctional clock, and a tachometer encircled by gauges for fuel level, temperature, oil pressure, and battery charge. Odometer shows 97k miles, only 250 miles since complete restoration. Now it?s like a brand new car from 1969!
