1934 Ford Coupe
This 34 Ford 5 Window is an extremely well built and thought out car. Not all street rods are created equal and this one has no problem standing out from the crowd. It has been extremely well cared for since constructed so still has a fresh show ready look. It is an all steel car by Ford with some exceptional body enhancements including the custom built louvered hood and deck lid, a 3 inch chop and it has also been channeled 4 inches. The front grill shell was custom built with double wall thickness. The chrome front grill is by Bob Drake and sets it apart from the 32 Hi Boys you are use to seeing. The exterior is painted a beautiful Canary Yellow with some very classy pin striping by the famous Frank Palmer. The LED tail lights have been frenched as well as the power antenna. The conversion of the suicide doors is so well done that it looks to be a factory job. It has an excellent stance and rides on a set of great looking Budnik wheels. (295-45R16 in rear and 205-50R15 up front)
The car is powered by a crate ZZ4 350/355 hp motor that is fully dressed out. It has a cool custom air cleaner that at first glance gives the impression of a fuel injection system. The brackets and serpentine belt system are all by Billet Specialties. The valve covers at polished fin style and look great. The engine is kept cool by an aluminum Griffin radiator with a shrouded electric fan from Cooling Components. The exhaust runs through a nice set of headers attached to 2 1/2 inch stainless exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers. The motor is connected to a 700R4 4 speed overdrive automatic transmission which is connected to the 3:73 geared rear end by a chrome driveshaft. With this gear ratio, in overdrive the effective ratio drops to 2:61. The front suspension consists of a chromed Super Bell drilled I beam straight axle with a 4 link and a Mullins steering gear box. This car drives so nice you would swear that it has an independent front suspension. The rear suspension is made up of a fully chromed Corvette independent rear with adjustable coil-overs. You will find polished Wilwood disc brakes under all corners and the front disc brakes have special air scoops for cooling purposes.
The custom interior is a thing of beauty with light tan (Beige) Ultra Leather seats and real #1 grade Ostrich skins. The seats came out of a 2004 Corvette and the drivers is power adjustable. The custom door panels and headliner are done with the same materials and look wonderful. A full set of Classic Antique face with gold trim gauges are set in a custom made Rosewood panel by Wabbit Wood Works. A custom panel also surrounds the Vintage Air AC/Heater controls. The custom center console houses the power window controls, power door lock controls and the tachometer. The leather and rosewood overhead console houses a couple of nice reading lights and a very nice sounding Sony stereo system. If all that wasn't enough, there is a polished tilt steering column by Ididit with a Rosewood banjo steering wheel and a Lokar transmission floor shifter. The floors and door panels have been insulated with Dynamat and Lizard Skin to keep the passenger compartment cool and quiet.
I am confident that we have overlooked some other features of this car, but by the description above you should get the idea of the quality build and the fact that there was no expense spared.
