1966 Ford Mustang Coupe 289

Description:

1966 Ford Mustang Coupe 289

VIN: 6T07C100294

This 1966 fuel injected Ford Mustang was built as a Wimbledon White C-code 289 coupe, and it has been customized and refinished. The exterior was painted red and fitted with LED headlights, and a modern head unit was installed in the color-coordinated interior. The suspension was updated with Viking front coilovers, a Shelby/Arning drop, and updated control arms and strut rods, and 17? American Racing wheels and front disc brakes were installed.

The 289ci V8 was fitted with a Holley Sniper EFI system along with Ford Racing valve covers and a Arvinode-style exhaust system with a crossover pipe and a GT-style dual-exit valance. A GT-style rear valance was added along with LED headlights that are relayed. Cracked weather seals are displayed in the gallery.

The 17? American Racing wheels and 235/45 Lexani tires were mounted in 2025. New front disc and rear drum brakes were fitted, and Viking double-adjustable coilovers have been installed up front along with roller control arms, SPC adjustable upper arms, and Delrin bushing monoball strut rods. A Shelby/Arning drop has been performed and the rear springs were replaced along with steering components.

The door panels, kick panels, and dashboard pad have all been replaced, and a modern headunit with Apple CarPlay has been installed. The car has air conditioning components, though the system does not blow cold air.

Instrumentation consists of a 140-mph speedometer and gauges for fuel level, oil pressure, amperage, and coolant temperature. The five-digit odometer shows under 92k miles, though it is believed to be inaccurate, and total mileage is unknown. A Holley Sniper screen is mounted ahead of the driver.

The C-code 289ci V8 has been fitted with Ford Racing valve covers, a Holley Sniper EFI system, a Hyperspark ECU-controlled distributor, and MSD plug wires. The alternator was converted to a 3G 95-amp unit, an FiTech in-tank fuel pump was installed, and the fan, fan clutch, and shroud were replaced. An Arvinode-style exhaust system was sourced from Waldron’s exhaust.

THIS VEHICLE TO BE COLLECTED FROM WELLINGTON, COLORADO.
