The Omni-based Chargers were of a different breed than the muscle car legends we associate with this name. But they may just fit into the Shelby lifestyle better than some of its Hemi brothers. Carroll Shelby loved powerful motors in lightweight packages, and this is the right place to start. Plus, the long hood and hatchback profile were just begging for some speedy style. It has an exclusive nose treatment that added more emphasis to both the steeper slope of the inner hood and the offset power bulge for the turbo, as well as a full ground effects body kit and a well-integrated spoiler. Only 7,699 Charger Shelbys were produced in 1986, and a mere 793 were painted in this attractive and desirable blue color.
