Offered for sale is a highly original 1973 Ford F-250 Highboy Ranger 4×4, powered by its original 360cid V8 motor paired to the factory automatic transmission and divorced transfer case. Still retains original paint. Finished in a customer ordered “Special Paint – Orange” over a newly upholstered black knit vinyl ranger bench seat interior in excellent condition. 1 of 20 produced from the factory.
Manufactured in San Jose, this first-year dent side was sold new at Gaplin Motors, Sepulveda, California. Galpin Motors has one of the most storied performance legacies of any Ford dealership in the country. In 1965, Galpin became California's first authorized Shelby dealer and served as the exclusive San Fernando Valley dealership for both Shelby Mustangs and the legendary Shelby Cobra.
