Winning an AACA Grand National First Prize places a vehicle among an elite group of nationally recognized restored collector cars. To even be eligible for Grand National competition, a vehicle must have previously earned an AACA Senior Award.
At the Grand Nationals, vehicles are judged for authenticity, workmanship, condition and overall correctness. A First Prize requires a minimum score of 380 points and the vehicle must finish within five points of the highest-scoring vehicle in its class.
An AACA Grand National First Prize is a significant recognition of the quality, authenticity and overall caliber of the restoration.
