At the heart of this Lincoln is its legendary 292ci flathead V12, backed by a 3-speed manual transmission. The V12 provides the unmistakable character that makes these early Lincolns increasingly fascinating to collectors.
Finished in a striking medium blue, the Lincoln makes an impressive statement from every angle. Period appointments include factory rear fender skirts, wide whitewall tires, deluxe Lincoln wheel covers with beauty rings, front and rear bumper guards and a chrome driver’s-side mirror, all complemented by extensive chrome and stainless brightwork.
Open the door and you’re greeted by a spacious six-passenger gray cloth interior and one of the great dashboards of the postwar era. The dramatic Art Deco-inspired instrumentation is surrounded by extensive chrome detailing and complemented by a deluxe Wonderbar AM radio and factory dash-mounted clock.
Remarkably well equipped for 1947, this Lincoln features power windows, factory heater and defroster and factory turn signals. The trunk includes its mat, jack and spare tire.
The original-style Lincoln body identification plate remains present and is stamped 5EH-77-6935. The odometer displays 17,193 miles; actual mileage unknown.
