Originally finished in Olympic Gold with a Dark Green interior, this factory SS 350 convertible had all the right bones, but certainly not the color combination we want to see today. It has since been thoughtfully re-imagined as a striking Red SS 350, complemented by the highly desirable Houndstooth and Black interior. The result is a Camaro that combines its desirable original SS foundation with a number of carefully selected RS body upgrades, including upgrading the original 4-speed to a Tremec 5-speed manual transmission.
Under the hood is a period-correct 350 4-barrel V8 equipped with ram-air, providing the performance and character expected from an SS Camaro. Inside, the Camaro presents as new, with the Houndstooth and black interior providing a classic and highly desirable appearance. An updated matching custom center armrest with integrated cup holders adds a practical touch without compromising the overall look. The manual convertible top is another distinctive feature, adding to the car’s authentic character and open-air appeal.
The underbody is clean, tidy and very respectable, complementing the overall presentation of this Camaro. From the engine compartment and interior to the trunk and underside, this car has been carefully prepared for both show and drive-ability.
