This 1966 Volkswagen Beetle has undergone a comprehensive professional restoration with the body refinished in White and the cabin restored in a Red and White combination. The restoration included new glass, headliner, interior materials, weather seals, instrumentation, and numerous mechanical components while retaining the recognizable character of the original Beetle.
The drivetrain has been upgraded with a professionally built 1915 cc engine featuring dual Weber carburetors, dual-port heads, a mild camshaft, upgraded oiling and cooling components, and a stainless steel exhaust. The transmission was professionally rebuilt with freeway-oriented gearing, while the suspension and braking systems were renewed with drop spindles, new shocks, a dual master cylinder, and four-wheel disc brakes. The car rides on new radial tires with a matching spare.
