Frame off restoration, finished in Butternut Yellow over a Black vinyl interior. Powered by a 427 cubic inch V8 paired with a five speed manual transmission featuring a Hurst shifter. The engine bay is finished in Gloss Black, including the inner fenders, firewall, underside of the hood, and radiator support brace, giving the car a nice and clean detailed/restored appearance. Engine equipment and upgrades include polished aluminum Edelbrock valve covers, an Edelbrock intake manifold, ceramic-coated headers, braided fuel lines, an upgraded polished aluminum Serpentine belt system, chrome alternator, MSD ignition system and spark plug wires, a new oil pan, and a newer starter. Cooling is handled by a Be Cool aluminum radiator with dual electric fans. Power steering and power brakes add to the driving experience, while the stainless steel dual exhaust features an X-pipe and MagnaFlow mufflers for a deep V8 exhaust rumble. The exterior retains its SS specific trim and emblems, complemented by sparkling front and back chrome bumpers. Sits on Rally wheels fitted with raised-white-letter BFGoodrich tires, measuring 295/50R15 in the rear and 215/65R15 in the front. Drilled and slotted rotors are fitted at all four corners, and the wheel wells are finished in Gloss Black. Inside, the Black vinyl interior features front bucket seats, center console, woodgrain steering wheel, and a push button AM/FM radio. The fuel, battery, temperature, speedometer, and oil gauges are all functioning, with the exception of the center console clock. Underneath, the restoration includes Gloss Black painted floor pans and frame, rear boxed trailing arms, a rear sway bar, a new driveshaft, and has a slightly aggressive Comp Camshaft and a 12-bolt rear end. The brake lines, springs, shocks, bushings, and emergency brake lines were replaced during the restoration. The gas tank was also replaced at the time of restoration. The potent 427 engine is not numbers matching, as Chevrolet did not offer a factory 427 in the 1967 Chevelle; the casting date reads this engine as December 3rd 1969. The odometer currently reads 84,517 miles.
