One of the last 1,700 '69 Camaros ever built at the Norwood plant and can be estimated to be one of the last 150 1969 Z/28 Camaros built at Norwood. It features all the original panels and looks to have only had 1 repaint of the course of its life. Also, it comes with a copy of the original Window Sticker, and even the newspaper clipping from where the previous owner purchased it. We will start off with the exterior of this Z/28. The body on it is rock solid and shows no signs of abuse or damage from over the years. All the lines flow beautifully from the front to the back. This Z features the factory flat hood option along with having the front and rear spoilers. The body is showcased by the Garnet Red paint that is accented by the Black Stripes. The paint was redone in Base Coat Clear Coat and the stripes are buried under the clear. It's been wet sanded, buffed, and polished to a mirror finish that's slick as a ribbon. Down the sides are straight and we can see all the panels have an excellent fit. This '69 has the wheel opening molding along with having the locker rocker molding. All trim around the windows is beautiful and it features all the original Flo Lite Glass. We can see that all the seals and weather stripping are in excellent condition. To finish off the exterior it's sitting on the 15x7 Rally Wheels with factory Caps and Beauty Rings and riding on a set of Firestone Wide oval White Letter Tires.
Next, we will look at the interior of this Camaro. On the inside it's done in the classic black that looks to be mostly all original and in phenomenal condition. It features the buckets seats with the floor mount four speed Hurst shifter. Both the front buckets and the rear bench seat are in excellent condition along with all the springs and padding. The carpet, headliner and visors all look to be original and are in excellent condition for their age. Looking at the dash we can see that it looks to have the original pad along with having the factory radio. This Z28 has the original 6000 Red line Tach and the factory Speedometer that are both working as they should. Inside the trunk is all rock solid from the jams to the pan. It's detailed out in the correct splatter paint and has the original jack and correct spare with good year tires.
Finally, we will get to the heartbeat of this Chevrolet. Under the hood it all looks correct how it would have come from the factory. The inner fenders and firewall are all rock solid and it has the original trim tag with the X77 Code. The power comes from the Matching Numbers DZ 302 Engine that set up with the original winter's intake and Holley Double Pump 4777-2 650 Carb with a 3259 Date Code. It's dressed in the original valve covers and has the Chrome Top Air Cleaner with the 302 Call Out. For Exhaust it has the correct 2942527 &3946826 Manifolds with all new factory style Chambered Exhaust that flows out the back. To keep it cool it has the factory UH code Z28 Radiator along with factory shroud and fan. This Z/28 comes with Power Brakes that features disc on the front and drums out back. When we look under this Camaro you are sure to be impressed as it has all the original floor pans. We can see they are all rock solid along with all the rockers and shock towers. The front subframe is in excellent condition as well along with both rear frame rails. The Matching numbers 302 runs through the original Muncie Four Speed Trans and original BU Coded 12 Bolt Posi Rear end with a 3.73. All the suspension is in excellent condition and is a testament to how well this car has always been cared for.
